Cleanup continues in north Tulsa neighborhoods torn up by Wednesday’s EF2 tornado.
American Red Cross workers are standing by at their makeshift help center at 1 p.m. Saturday to help families.
They are set to help residents with food, cleaning supplies and temporary shelter assistance.
The help center located at the Antioch Baptist Church at 56th Street North and MLK Jr. Boulevard.
Those needing help will need to bring a photo ID and proof of residence.
Survivors told FOX23 they are having a tough time climbing out of the damage.
Two EF2 tornadoes ripped through Green Country Wednesday.
One tore up north Tulsa and went as far as Owasso and Verdigris.
Mayor Dewey Bartlett is requesting additional funding from the city to pay for debris removal.
The city of Tulsa will pick up debris on the side of the road for free.
Officials said the items must be within four feet of the curb and away from fire hydrants, meters or power lines.
The pick-up applies for those living within the 46th Street North corridor from Main Street to Highway 75 and from 42nd Street North to 49th.
It kicks off Tuesday morning and leads through Wednesday.
Tulsa officials said close to 400 Tulsa homes and businesses were affected by the storm. 191 more have minor damage, 54 more have major damage, and five more were destroyed.
