PEETZ, Colo. — Three tornadoes touched down within 10 miles in Logan County on Monday.
Logan County Emergency Manager Kyle Moulton said one tornado caused damage, while the other two were short-lived.
One tornado destroyed a barn and ripped the door of a house near County Roads 37 and 74, the Logan County Sheriff’s Office said. Power poles were also taken down.
No injuries were reported, the sheriff’s office said.
The National Weather Service issued a now-expired tornado warning for part of Logan County, including Peetz, at 2:11 p.m. that lasted until 2:45 p.m.
