MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Strong storms that created seven tornadoes and flash flooding in parts of Minnesota have mostly moved out of the state Tuesday night.
No reports of tornado-related damaged have been reported. Downpours soaked much of the Twin Cities metro during rush hour. Winds were strong west of the Twin Cities in Hudson, Wisconsin, but they did not cause any damage.

A surge of water flooded streets in Mankato, and some of the cars that tried to get through.

A number of counties in southwestern Minnesota were placed under tornado watches and severe thunderstorm warnings Tuesday afternoon, and a few were under tornado warnings as well.

A number of videos and photos of a tornado were tweeted from the Pipestone area.
