Owners of Clover Nook farm in Bethany, Connecticut said they had a “direct hit by a tornado” on Tuesday.
In a post on Facebook, one of the owners of the farm said he, his mother, and his father were locked in a greenhouse when they saw the tornado hit.
“The second greenhouse took off and landed on top of the greenhouse we were in,” according to the Facebook post.
The family ran into the house and escaped injury. An old storage barn was also destroyed as well as tractors and equipment.
