MOTT, N.D. – The National Weather Service in Bismarck says the Friday night tornado in Mott was an EF-1.
They had team in Mott Saturday morning surveying damage.
NWS Warning Coordination Meteorologist John Paul Martin says the tornado was on the northeast side of town, on the ground for 8 minutes, traveled 2.85 miles and had 105 mph winds.
It was reported by the Hettinger County Sheriff’s Office just before 9:25 p.m. MDT.
The Hettinger County emergency manager says no injuries were reported.
