Barron County (WQOW) – The National Weather Service has confirmed a tornado touched down Sunday in Barron County.
Monday night NWS investigators confirmed the EF-0 twister touched down six miles southeast of Barron at about 6:40 Sunday evening. It stayed on the ground for about four-tenths of a mile, with maximum wind speeds of 74 miles per hour.
This is on top of the other two tornadoes that hit Barron County just ten days before.
