NORTH MANKATO, Minn. (KEYC) — The national weather service has categorized the tornado, which touched down Saturday afternoon, as an EF-0.
They say peak wind speeds reached 80 miles per hour. Crews could be seen cleaning up damage over the weekend. Fallen trees and branches were reported across Mankato and North Mankato, as well as some damage to cornfields.
